The creator of the Sci-Fi Channel telemovie says expect big screen treatment

Like anyone needed another reason to go watch the premiere of "Lord of the Rings" in December?

J. Michael Straczynski recently told Usenet readers that a trailer for the Sci-Fi Channel telemovie "Babylon 5: Legend of the Rangers" will be shown in most theaters carrying "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring."

Straczynski said that many of the theaters also will be carrying trading cards for the telemovie, which will air on the American cable channel in January.

There still is no word if the pilot will be picked up by Sci-Fi Channel as a series.
