The former TNG actor said that he's worried he might have said the wrong thing

Wil Wheaton, who played Wesley Crusher in "Star Trek: The Next Generation," recently posted to his www.wilwheaton.net that he may have inadvertantly offended actress Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres, "Star Trek: Voyager") during the taping of the celebrity Star Trek edition of NBC's "The Weakest Link," which airs Monday in the U.S.

Dawson apparently told Entertainment Weekly that she didn't take too kindly of a joke Wheaton made that he was in love with her.

"Coming on to me on national television, when he knows my husband's gonna watch the show, is just unfair, and frankly rude," Dawson said.

Wheaton -- who is married himself -- said he is trying to apologize to Dawson for the comment.

"I just feel awful, and I've put in calls to my Star Trek friends, so I can phone her myself and apologize to her."
