Here's your chance to catch the Australian opening of the film ... for charity

If you live in Australia, and are excited about finally getting a chance to see "The Lord of the Rings," two fan Web sites could be putting together the perfect event for you.

InSciFi and TheOneRing.net are joining forces to host a charity premiere screening of "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" in Sydney, Australia.

The Screening will be held Dec. 25 at midnight in Sydney City. All funds from the screening will be donated to the Starlight Foundation to help sick and needy children in the country.

However, those who want to be a part of the event will have to act quickly. InSciFi is seeking reservations from those who would be interested in participating to determine the number of cinemas that will have to be reserved (and to cheapen the cost of the tickets).

For more information on tickets or sponsorships of the event, e-mail Julian Ridden at julian_ridden@inscifi.net or visit the information page by clicking here.
