Three online chats have been scheduled over the next several days that will give fans of "Star Trek," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "The X-Files" a chance to talk to their favorite stars.

Nicholas Brendon (Xander) will start things off Nov. 6 with a chat through AOL Live. Beginning at 7 p.m. ET, Brendon is expected to promote the highly-anticipated "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" musical episode which airs at 8 p.m. ET on UPN. (Programming note: The "Buffy" musical will run until 9:08 p.m. ET, delaying "Roswell" to 9:10 p.m.).

The chat is only open to members of America Online, and can be accessed at the time of the event at Keyword: LIVE.

William Shatner (Capt. James T. Kirk) will be making his way to the online stage Nov. 8 at noon ET at the Official Star Trek Web site. He will take fan questions presumably about his role as the famous Enterprise captain, as well as about his new documentary with former co-star Leonard Nimoy (Spock), "Mind Meld: Secrets Behind the Voyage of a Lifetime."

Questions can be sent in ahead of time by sending an e-mail to shatnerchat@pde.paramount.com.

Finally, the newest member of "The X-Files" cast, Cary Elwes, will be chatting with fans with TV Guide on AOL Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. He'll be promoting the ninth season premiere of "The X-Files," which airs at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 11.

More details on this chat can be found at TV Guide Online. This chat, like Brendon's, is opened only to members of America Online.
