"Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda" is running about average in the first-run syndication ratings, but that's not enough to beat another Tribune Entertainmant property -- "Mutant X."

"Exit Strategies," the second episode of "Andromeda," scored a 3.0 rating in Nielsen syndication numbers, tying "Mutant X." That rating is an 0.2 drop from the previous week's second season premiere, "The Widening Gyre." "Stargate SG-1" finished in third with 2.6 while "Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict" was fourth with a 2.1.

According to SlipstreamWeb, "Andromeda's" latest ratings are highly consistent with the numbers the show posted at the end of last season with both "Star Crossed" and "It Makes a Lovely Light" pulling in 3.1. However, the second episode of "Andromeda's" first season, "An Affirming Flame," pulled in a 4.0 rating.
