'Knight Rider' Desperately Seeking An Audience

"Knight Rider" is hanging on for dear life, but it's apparently not going to allow a strange New Year's Eve airing to get it down. The NBC show scored a 3.7 rating/7 share in Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research Wednesday night, rebounding 37 percent from a 2.7/5 last week, but still losing out to a lot of reruns.
