Cast Changes Ahead For 'Sarah Connor Chronicles'

If you like the character relationships in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” the way they are, you’re in for a surprise when the series returns for its second year.

According to TV Guide, casting is currently underway for two new characters that are expected to shake things up a little.

“The show is hunting for a couple of new regulars: Becky, a hot teenaged hipster, and Catherine, an unusually earthy business bigwig in her early forties,” Michael Ausiello said in his report. “Which leads me to believe that young John is about to get a girlfriend. Because of the new teenager, I mean, not the 40-year-old female Bill Gates. Although, now that I mention it, he does have some mother issues.”

Throughout the first season of the show, there was some definate tension between John Connor (Thomas Dekker) and his cybernetic protector Cam (Summer Glau) and previous reports indicated that a relationship between the two wouldn’t be completely out of the question. If Ausiello’s reports are true then it looks like that for the time being their relationship will be strictly save the future.
