By MICHAEL HINMAN"Heroes" earned a 6.6 rating/10 share, according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, matching the audience it earned the week before. However, just as it has been doing all season long, "Heroes" still is finishing third in its Monday 9 p.m. timeslot to "Dancing With the Stars" and "Samantha Who" on ABC, and both "Two and a Half Men" and "Rules of Engagement" on CBS. "Heroes" did beat the Fox flop "K-Ville," which managed a 3.2/5, as well as programming on The CW.
"Chuck," which is serving as "Heroes'" lead-on on NBC also seems to have stabilized, matching its previous estimated rating of 4.6/7, according to Zap2it. It also finished in third place once again, behind "Dancing" and comedies from CBS. It did beat a rerun of "House" on Fox as well as The CW programming.
"Journeyman" didn't get the same luck however. It pulled in a 3.8/6, down from last week's 4.1/7, however still ahead of its low experienced just two weeks ago.
"Pushing Daisies" took a hit on the Wednesday before the American Thanksgiving holiday, earning just a 4.7/8, a series low. However, all shows Wednesday night seemed to take a tremendous ratings hit as audiences found themselves busy getting ready for the holiday.
"Pushing Daisies" was able to lead the hour ahead of "Kid Nation" on CBS, "Phenomenon" on NBC, and reruns on Fox.
For Monday, NBC finished in third place overall with a 50/8 behind the 11.8/18 for ABC and the 8.0/12 by CBS. It beat Fox, which had a 3.8/6 and The CW with a 1.4/2.
On Wednesday, ABC finished in a close third with a 5.0/8 behind the 7.6/13 from CBS and 5.4/9 from NBC. Fox was fourth and The CW last.
Fast Nationals usually provide a snapshot of what Americans are watching by pulling numbers from the top urban markets that includes both live viewing and same-day timeshifted viewing. A rating point generally represents more than 1.1 million households while the share indicates the percentage of televisions turned on that was tuned to the specific program. These numbers typically shift when final ratings are issued.
