The Seeing Ear Theatre is gaining considerable attention

Leonard Nimoy can be proud of his latest project.

Seeing Ear Theatre, the group he started a few years ago with other Star Trek alums, including John de Lancie, was recently honored by the board of the Society of American Vintage-Radio Enthusiasts Inc., a non-profit educational and archival society.

Nimoy received the group's annual William L. Spier Golden Microphone Award, which he shared jointly with the Sci-Fi Channel.
