No STGN in September

The Internet publication is expected to resume in October

The Star Trek Galactic Newsletter has opted not to run a September issue, the first time the newsletter has not published in its three-year existence.

Brian Meskimen, president of the STGN, made the announcement to the staff today. The tragedy in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh contributed to the decision not to run the issue this month, he said.

STGN is distributed monthly to more than 2,000 subscribers. It is expected to resume publication in October.
