Tarantino Won't Be Hero For NBC

In this day and age, television shows have gone from stunt casting to stunt directing. While Quentin Tarantino has been a part of that, taking on episodes of shows like "Alias" and "ER," he won't be a part of NBC's newest biggest show.

The director best known for films like "Pulp Fiction" reportedly told The Sun that producers from "Heroes" wanted to bring him on board to direct an episode.

"They were trying to get me to do one," Tarantino said. "I haven't even seen the fucking show. What the fuck is 'Heroes'?"

"Heroes," of course, is one of the only serialized dramas that survived last year's trend to be a breakout hit for the network. It featured a group of random people who suddenly develop powers a la "The X-Men," and was one of the nominees last weekend for Outstanding Drama Series, losing to "The Sopranos."

"Heroes" returns to NBC on Monday.
