U.S. under attack

SyFy Portal expresses condolescences

We at SyFy Portal are deeply saddened by the tragedy that has occured here in the United States.

SyFy Portal is an international site, accessible everywhere in the world where there is Internet access. However, we are based both in Minnesota (where Greg is) and Tampa, Fla. (where I am).

This is a horrible time for our country, and even as an international science fiction site like this, we cannot help but be affected by everything that has happened.

We wanted to take this moment to express our condolences to the family and friends of everyone victimized by this cowardly act of terrorism against this country.

We are suspending our updates to when Internet traffic clears up, and when it is most appropriate to resume coverage of science fiction, which right now seems highly insignificant.
