Zahara cast for 'Jeremiah'

The actor also will appear in 'Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers'

Alex Zahara, who was cast to appear in the upcoming "Babylon 5" telemovie "The Legend of the Rangers," has landed himself on yet another J. Michael Straczynski program: Showtime's "Jeremiah."

Zahara will play Ezekiel, a non-regular but recurring character on the show. "I look as far from Dulann as you could imagine," Zahara said of his new character compared to the one he is playing for the B5 movie.

"Jeremiah" is a new series being adapted for television by Straczynski based on the Platinum Studios graphic novel series by Hermann Huppen. It is expected to premiere in early 2002 on the premium cable channel.
