After the success of the "Batman Begins" movie last year, it was only a matter of time before a sequel would be in the works. Writer David Goyer and Director Chris Nolan said that the follow-up film is indeed in the works, according to comicbookmovie.com.

In an interview at the recent Saturn Awards, the two Bat-moviemakers said that they have come up with a great story for the next Bat-film. They also said that Christian Bale, who starred as Batman, is also interested in reprising his role.

During that awards ceremony, "Batman Begins" took home the Best Fantasy Film award.

Goyer, who has also scripted comic books in the past, has submitted his script for the film based on another DC Comics character, the Flash. He said that the producers and the studio will have it by the end of May. Goyer said he would prefer to have Ryan Reynolds of "Just Friends" and "The Amityville Horror" fame play the fastest man alive.
