The cast and crew of "Andromeda" are finally taking a break for the summer after getting the first 10 episodes of the syndicated series' second season in the bag.

Series staff writer Zack Stentz told SlipstreamWeb that filming has wrapped on the tenth episode, "The Prince," which was written by Eric Oleson.

Location shooting has been taking place at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, which was redressed to be the setting of the coronation grounds of Ne'Hollond for the episode.

Kevin Sorbo (Dylan Hunt) also mentioned that he would be directing the 19th episode of Season 2 and that Michael Hurst and Bruce Campbell, who played in "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" with Sorbo, would be making guest appearances on the show, but in different episodes. Hurst will be playing a Magog bounty hunter, according to the report.

The Season 2 premiere, "The Widening Guyre," is scheduled to air during the first week of October.
